An Arab hotel worker in Dibba, Fujairah died after he was dragged by high waves into the sea while trying to fix damage caused by Kyarr hurricane that has swept the area, a newspaper reported on Thursday.
The food and beverage employee was helping other workers on the coast just outside the hotel when he was dragged by waves, Emarat Alyoum said.
It quoted hotel management as saying that the employee drowned and died instantly after he was pushed into the water by a high wave.
