A Cessna 414 plane has crashed in a community in New Jersey in the United States immediately killing its pilot and burning at least two houses.
The crash is now being investigated by the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board.
A video shared by Michael Yonone on Facebook showed firefighters putting out the fire in one of the residential houses. The plane was seen on a doorbell camera falling from the sky, just moments before the crash.
“There were no passengers in the aircraft and no one on the ground was injured,” a police official told NBC News.
Mayor of Woodbridge Township John E. McCormac said no civilians were hurt and that only the pilot was aboard the plane.
Authorities identified the pilot as Michael Schloss.
The pilot was a cardiologist in New York City. He was flying to New Jersey for a lecture.
