Irate woman in Canada tells Filipino couple to go back to PH for talking “too loud” on train

On a scale of one to ten, how annoyed would you be if you encounter individuals talking loudly?

An incident in August this year involving racist remarks by a woman in Vancouver, Canada who confronted a Filipino couple for talking too loud inside a train, just wouldn’t die down.

The woman was confronted by at least two passengers for being racist but she explained she was just asking the couple to talk with their voices a little lower.

The woman added that the Filipino couple, instead of lowering their voices, responded that that’s their manner of talking in the Philippines.

The woman can be heard saying before getting off the train that the couple should go back to the Philippines.

A video of the incident, apparently filmed by passengers irate at the woman, was reshared by Daily Mail Australia last Oct. 22 and garnered several comments either against the woman or criticizing some Filipinos for talking loudly in public.

The video was originally uploaded by Daily Mail last Aug. 29, 2017 and was carried by major news organizations around the world.
