Three Asian men are on trial in Sharjah on charges of murdering an African during a fight in the city, newspapers said on Sunday.
The names and identities of the victims and suspects were withheld.
Police arrested the three after they were told by doctors at a local hospital that an African man had been stabbed to death.
After identifying the three through witnesses, police raided their house and arrested them, according to the report.
Two of them denied stabbing the victim while the other told court that he was drunk and that he might have used a knife in the scuffle.
Newspaper said the judge adjourned hearings to Nov 24 to listen to the demands of the victim’s relatives.
