P1-million reward for info on abductors of British man, Filipino wife

The provincial government of Zamboanga del Sur is offering a P1-million reward for anyone who could provide information that would lead to the arrest of the kidnappers of a British national and his Filipino wife.

Allan Hyrons and wife Wilma were kidnapped by armed men shortly after arriving at their beach resort in Barangay Alindahaw in Tukuran last October 4.

“The provincial government of Zamboanga del Sur is exhausting all measures to rescue the lives of the Hyrons couple who were abducted by unidentified gunmen at their resort in Tukuran on Friday night,” the province said in a statement per a report by news.abs-cbn.com said

Authorities are investigating other possible motives aside from kidnap-for-ransom scheme.

Composite sketches of the couple’s abductors had been released.

According to reports, the suspects were seen checking in at the resort owned by the couple a day before the kidnapping.

Based on the sketch, the male suspect has a medium built, 25-30 years old, with fair complexion, and around 5’2-5’4″ in height. The second sketch describes the male suspect as 55-60 years old and also of fair complexion, the report said. (CC)
