President Rodrigo Duterte has arrived in Tokyo to attend the enthronement ceremony of Emperor Naruhito.
Senator Bong Go posting photos of their arrival on Monday evening, as per a report from GMA News.
During his visit, the President may also hold talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, according to a report by Japan’s public broadcaster NHK.
He was also expected to attend the banquets to celebrate the enthronement of Emperor Naruhito, who succeeded to the throne on May 1.
