An Asian expatriate stabbed his cousin to death after the latter refused to clean the apartment where they stay.
The identities of both the victim and the suspect were not disclosed by the court.
The suspect told court that he decided to kill his cousin because he was mistreating him and refused to help him in cleaning the apartment.
A witness said he rushed to the nearby flat after hearing screams and saw the killer repeatedly stabbing the victim.
“I jumped on him and grabbed the knife. When I asked him why he was doing this to his relative, he simply replied: it already happened,” the witness told the court.
The witness said the victim was stabbed many times in the chest and back until he died, adding that the victim tried to resist the attack.
