‘Sinong magnanakaw?’ Robredo, Marcos trade barbs on accusations of “robbing”

Vice President Leni Robredo has fired back on the claims of former Senator Bongbong Marcos that she stole the vice presidency.

“By conducting the cheating in the election, they robbed the proper Vice-President who won the election, myself, from the three years of service,” Marcos said in an interview after the Supreme Court’s decision to defer its voting on his VP poll protest.

Robredo held a press conference after the decision and responded to Marcos’ claims.

“It’s funny that he is the one saying it. Because between the two of us, it’s not me who has a habit of robbing,” Robredo said.

Robredo also took a swipe at the Marcos family which had a history of “questionable documents” including diplomas or college degree.

“All of what I have achieved were results of hard work. I do not have fake diplomas, I don’t release fake news. He should not say those things because between the two of us, I know that I am not the robber,” she said.

The Vice President adds that she won the 2016 Vice Presidential race.

“How many victories do I need for him to believe that he never won the elections?” she asked.
