DUBAI: A 33-year-old worker from India, taking a nap by the shades a bulldozer at a Sharjah construction site, died a horrible death after another worker ran the vehicle not knowing there was someone dozing off underneath, police reported
“The deceased worker was sleeping during his break time when the incident happened. The case was reported to us at 4pm on Saturday,” Khaleej Times quoted a police official as saying. “A team from the central area police station arrived at the spot in under three minutes.”
The Indian was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. The worker who drove the bulldozer has been arrested and referred to the public prosecution, according to the KT report. The incident happened at Sharjah’s Mleiha area.
