Starting December 1, the excise tax on electronic smoking devices and tools and sweetened beverages will take effect, the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) announced.
With this, FTA has called on importers, producers, and stockpilers of electronic smoking devices, liquids used in such devices and sweetened drinks to register for excise tax system as soon as possible.
This is in accordance with the two Cabinet decisions and the Ministry of Finance.
Late or failed registration may result in fines or obstacles.
