The Federal Supreme Court in Abu Dhabi upheld the rulings of the lower courts sentencing two Asian men – a watchman and a car cleaner — to death for the rape and murder of a married woman.
The high court document showed that the Asian men carried out the murder in the woman’s apartment.
The two men confessed on the crime. They said they initially planned to break into the woman’s apartment while they were working on a nearby shop.
One of the men knocked on the woman’s door and pushed. They then handcuffed and raped her.
The men put a cloth on the woman’s mouth to keep her from shouting or screaming for help.
The accused told the court that they only killed her because they fear that she would report her to the authorities.
