Bad weather triggered a power outage in one of Dubai’s popular malls today, Tuesday.
The mall management said they experienced a technical glitch on their power supply.
Shoppers at the Mall of the Emirates were immediately evacuated as the power disruption caused inconvenience.
“Earlier today, Mall of the Emirates faced a temporary power outage due to a technical issue. Standard procedures were followed to ensure the safety of visitors and tenants. The matter was resolved immediately and business is as usual at the mall. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to both our tenants and visitors,” the mall said in a statement.
