OFW passes out after Hong Kong anti-riot police use tear gas

A 30-year-old overseas Filipino worker (OFW) passed out while hanging place in a place where police used tear gas during a protest demonstration.

Jay Palmera fainted after having difficulty breathing because of tear gas at the Wanchai district playground where a group of OFWS had a basketball game.

Palmera wasn’t able to cover her mouth with a towel and inhaled the smoke; she was immediately brought to the hospital for medical help.

Palmera has yet to regain consciousness as of this writing. Her employers were also informed about the incident.

Thousands of Hong Kong protesters flocked the streets once again to defy a ban against facial masks.

Hong Kong has been battered by weekend protests over a Chinese policy which was already revoked by the Hong Kong government to appease protesters but to no avail.
