World leaders congratulate Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on its National Day 

Several world leaders sent their congratulatory messages to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as the KIngdom of Saudi Arabia celebrates its 89th National Day today.

According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), United States President Donald Trump sent his message thru US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia John Abizaid. He also wished the leadership and the Saudi people further progress and prosperity.

Trump also took note of “the strong and profound relationship between the two countries.” He described them as “better than ever, especially as the two countries face the challenges of regional security and work together to achieve common economic and political goals, promote prosperity and economic development and protect their common security as well as cement building relations between the people of the Kingdom and the United States.”

Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan also sent his congratulations through Twitter.  “Your day is our day, your joy is our joy, and your achievements are a source of pride for us,” he said in his tweet.

Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and Oman’s Sultan Qaboos also sent their cables of congratulations.  The British Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa Andrew Murrison also congratulated the Kingdom through a video message on its official Twitter account.  In the video message, UK reaffirms its friendship with the Kingdom.
