St. Petersburg in Russia introduces free e-visa entry to Filipinos

The Philippines is among the 53 countries who can now visit St. Petersburg and other nearby locations in the Leningrad Region with a free electronic visa starting October.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev made the announcement with the list of the countries that was made possible with the decree signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to its official announcement.

The free e-visa will be granted for the following reasons – tourism, business and humanitarian reasons and is only valid for 8 days.

Visa applications must not be made later than 4 days before the trip and not 20 days earlier than the scheduled trip.
