Customs confiscate 6 boxes of liquid Marijuana at NAIA

Authorities have confiscated six boxes of liquid marijuana at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

The Bureau of Customs said that the boxes came from Romania and were declared “Ulei Cannabidiol Full Plant Extract”.

The boxes were supposed to be delivered to San Pablo, Laguna.

Customs officials then discovered that the boxes contain liquid marijuana after a thorough inspection.

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency confirmed that the bottled contain tetrahydrocannabinol.

Customs officials filed charges for importation of illegal substance against the consignee.
