Dubai authorities said the boy who was found alone at a Dubai mall more than a week ago could be placed under temporary foster care until his parents showed up.
The 5-year-old boy was noticed by a Filipina shopper and when no one came to get him, she informed the authorities.
The father’s identity is unknown. When he would be asked about his father’s name, he would say ‘Superman’, according to a report of The National.
For now, women officers in Al Muraqqabat Police Station take care of the boy.
If investigations will take longer, he will be transferred to a foster home.
