Two hurt after jumping from fire in 4th floor

Two Asian men suffered from medium injuries after jumping from their 4th floor apartment in Ajman to escape fire.

The blaze erupted in one of the flats on the 4th floor in Al-Nuaimiya neighborhood due to a cooker electric fault, according to police.

Civil defence units managed to control the fire before spreading to other apartments in the building, newspapers said.

“Two Asians suffered from medium injuries and were taken to the hospital after they jumped down from the 4th floor to escape the blaze,” Emarat Al Youm daily said.
