The tourist visa fee waiver for children younger than 18 travelling to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has ended today.
This was following the announcement from the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship last July and was again posted in a tweet last Sept. 4, 2019.
The exemption is applicable for tourists travelling to the country from July 15 to September 15 every year.
Under the scheme, residents welcomed the visa waiver for children visiting the UAE who were underage. It was considered a blessing for relatives and family members to have them especially those who planned to spend summer holidays in the UAE.
