Thanks to Sharjah Police, a tourist has avoided the hassle of travelling 500 km back to a hotel in Sharjah after he forget his ID.

The Saudi Arabian tourist visited Sharjah with his family and realized that he forgot his identification documents at the hotel where they stayed.

He only realized this when his brother noticed that the ID was not in the car and they were already at the Ghuwaifat port, 500 kilometers away from Sharjah.

The tourist called the Sharjah Police and informed them about what happened. Just when he was about to reach Abu Dhabi, a police patrol car stopped him and gave him his identification documents and flowers.

Sharjah Police shared the photo of the Saudi tourist on Instagram.

Netizens lauded this gesture of Sharjah Police. Once user commented: “I visited this country before and only experienced order and respect.”

Another comment written in Arabic read: “I remember Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, directing the police to bring a number of citizens to their homes after their plane landed at Sharjah airport instead of Ras Al Khaimah because of fog. God bless you. Inshaallah.”
