Twelve PBA imports ready to battle it out for PBA Govs’ Cup

Tried and tested imports and newcomers will be paraded in the upcoming PBA Governors’ Cup, which will open on September 20.

Leading the cast of reinforcements are former Best Import awardees Allen Durham, Justin Brownlee and Romeo Travis.

Magnolia is parading Travis once again after the childhood friend and former high school teammate of NBA superstar LeBron James led the Hotshots to the championship in the same conference last season.

Durham is back for another tour of duty with the Meralco Bolts, while Brownlee is suiting up again for the Barangay Ginebra Kings.

Other imports are Justin Watts for the Alaska Aces, Mychal Ammons for the NorthPort Batang Pier and Joel Wright for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.

The TNT Ka Tropa have brought in KJ McDaniels, while the San Miguel Beermen have tapped the services of Dez Wells.

The NLEX Road Warriors will be relying on Olu Ashaolu, while Aaron Fuller will be leading the charge for the Blackwater Elite.

Eugene Phelps is returning to play for the Phoenix Fuel Masters, while Khapri Alston has been brought in to reinforce Columbian Dyip.
