A Lauderdale County high school in the US removed some of the stall doors in restrooms as an effort to stop students from vaping there.
School officials reportedly found out that some students at Wilson High School in Florence are sneaking in electronic cigarettes to school.
According to a report by WAFF, Principal Gary Horton took this drastic step after a student passed out inside the boy’s restroom after vaping two weeks ago.
However, his decision didn’t sit well with other parents saying it is “too invasive”.
However, the school principal says this is only temporary until school officials find a more permanent solution to prevent students from vaping in restrooms.
Health officials have linked three deaths to vaping including the 450 cases of possible lung illness in the country.
