The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) has opened a satellite office in Region IV-A.

The satellite office is located at the Robinsons Galleria South in San Pedro City, Laguna.

It was last May when OWWA signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Robinsons Land Corp. establishing the office.

OWWA IV-A Regional Director Ma. Luisa Reyes, OWWA Chief for Programs and Services Cynthia Erum, Robinsons Land Corporation Senior Vice President and Business Unit General Manager Arlene Magtibay and Robinsons Land Corporation Regional Operations Manager (Lipa, San Pedro & Las Piñas) R.J. In a previous report by Philippine Information Agency-4A, Reyes said the San Pedro Satellite Office will provide the same services as the Calamba Regional Office.

With the satellite office in San Pedro, locals will no longer have to travel to the central office in Ortigas or to the regional office.
