The older sister of Los Angeles Clippers player Kawhi Leonard was charged in court for her alleged involvement in the killing of an elderly woman at a resort casino in California.
The Riverside Press-Enterprise reported that Kimesha Monae Williams, 35, and Candace Tai Townsel, 39, were arrested and charged for allegedly robbing and killing 84-year-old Afaf Anis Assad at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California.
California police said the incident happened in the morning of August 31 when Assad was attacked by two people in the bathroom of the casino.
Police said Assad suffered a broken skull and her purse is missing.
Williams and Townsel were held without bail. They are scheduled to appear in court on September 19, the report added.
