Two Chinese national were intercepted August 28 by the Bureau of Immigration after selling retail goods without proper work permit and visa in Samar.
The BI identified the Chinese nationals as Wu Zhijie, 26, and Wu Jiajiang, 51 who were arrested in Catbalogan City.
Zhijie and Jiajiang failed to present travel documents when they were approached by BI agents.
The operation was conducted after the BI chief issued a mission order for the two Chinese following complaints of Filipino traders in the area that the two illegal workers were affecting their businesses.
The Chinese national are now detained in BI Detention in Bicutan and are facing deportation.
