Kuwaiti police arrested an Asian woman on charges of stealing the contents of many cars and setting them ablaze.
Police managed to identify and catch the woman after receiving reports from car owners that their vehicles had been plundered and burned.
Cops searching the woman’s house in the capital Kuwait City found many mobile phones, jewelry, bags and other stolen items, newspapers said.
“She confessed that she had opened parked cars, burgled them and set them ablaze,” the Arabic language daily Al Watan said.
Police are interrogating the woman to determine her motives for setting the vehicles ablaze after robbing them, it added.
