An Arab businessman who happily went for a date with a presumed pretty Swedish woman at an apartment in Dubai was even happier when he found five women in the room. But his delight was short-lived as they robbed instead of entertained him.
The man stumbled across the Swedish beauty through social networks and his dream of meeting her came true when he returned to the UAE and she called him.
The unnamed man has just received a cash remittance of Dh155,000 in Dubai when the woman phoned him. Instead of taking the money home, he rushed to the address she gave him with the money stacked in his pockets.
When he knocked at the door, the woman invited him in and he happily stepped into the apartment in Al-Quoz neighborhood.
He got a shock when he saw five pretty women smiling at him. His shock turned into horror when they jumped on him and started to slap and punch him.
After they managed to control him, they slipped their hands into one pocket and found about Dh55,000. They were so delighted with the big sum that they did not bother search the other pocket.
To make them believe they got all he had, the man then begged them for some money to pay the taxi to Sharjah, where he lives.
“They did not suspect that he had about Dh100,000 in the other pocket after he asked for taxi money…..they were kind enough to give him Dh600,” the official Arabic language daily Emarat Al Youm said.
Once he was out, the man rushed to the building’s watchman, who called the police. Two women managed to escape while the other three were caught as they tried to escape through the window, the paper said.
As if his ordeal was not enough, the prosecutor decided to refer the man to a court of misdemeanor for encouraging vice as he went to the woman’s apartment in the hope of having an illicit relationship, it added.
