The viral video of a high-rise building breaking apart created fear among netizens.

The 18-second clip was shared on Chinese social media organizations.

But was there really anyone hurt?

People’s Daily later reported that the video was taken during a controlled demolition.

It added that there were no injuries when the demolition took place.

So, the next time you see a video online, don’t just immediately share it. Take the time to verify it.
