Two Asian men facing charges of abducting a girl of the same nationality denied the accusations, claiming she got in the car with them at her own will.
Police arrested the two after the unidentified girl reported that they forced her into their car and drove to a remote place in Abu Dhabi.
One of them told court on Monday that she agreed to go with them and that they did not force her into the car but the girl insisted she was snatched.
The Arabic language daily Al Khaleej said the judge decided to adjourn hearings to Sept 4 to allow the defendants to get a lawyer.
