Sharjah police saved an Asian child forgotten by his family inside a locked car in scorching summer heat in the emirate.
Cops rushed to Nahda area after receiving phone calls that a sweating small boy was struggling to get out of a locked car.
“The cops arrived quickly and managed to open the car in a short period of time… the boy was safely taken out of the vehicle,” Emarat Al Youm daily said.
It quoted a police spokesman as saying the incident took place on Sunday night and that the child was forgotten by his family inside the car. The spokesman said the child’s father was summoned to the police station for interrogation.
