An Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW)in Kuwait suffered stroke in April resulting to her comatose condition.

Marie Cristy Candare has been a domestic worker for many years. Her family in the Philippines are worried about her condition but the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait showed them videos and photos of Cristy in the hospital showing signs of improvement since May 10.

“Mag three months palang nag apply na ko ng visa, sinakripisyo ko po birthday ng anak ko. Gusto ko po malaman kondisyon ng kapatid ko at maalagaan siya doon,” Camille told ABS-CBN News.

The family’s anxiety over Cristy’s condition lessened as they saw photos and videos of the OFW recovering from stroke.

He said that they are ready to bring her back home anytime as long as the OFW is given clearance by the hospital.
