A driver got a fair warning from law enforcement after he was caught playing Pokemon Go while pulling over on a shoulder on State Route 518 near Sea-Tac airport on Tuesday.
The driver literally took the game’s catch phrase of “Gotta catch them all” when he was caught playing the game on eight phones.
In a tweet from Washington State Patrol Public Information Officer Rick Johnson, a photo showed a blue foam with eight holes cut for each phone that serves as its holder.
It was Sergeant Kyle Smith who chatted with the driver of the vehicle on the shoulder.
“Driver agreed to put phones in back seat and continued his commute with 8 less distractions,” said Johnson’s tweet.

The driver didn’t get a ticket though for distracted driving, according to Johnson, but he was warned to only pull over on shoulders if facing an emergency.
A Twitter user with the handle @MaindrainL said the driver of the vehicle did face an emergency since the photo shows “six open Rayquaza catch screens”.
