SriLankan Airlines launches free visa for Philippines, 47 other countries

It seems another country will be added to the bucket list of Filipino travelers.

SriLankan Airlines has launched free visa on arrival facility to 48 countries for a period of six months.

Philippines is among the countries given free visa access wherein the initiative will be effective from August 1. Australia, Europe and North America are also included, as per a report from Gulf News

The move is a way to boost the country’s tourism working with different partners from tour operators, travel agents to hotels.

The SriLankan Airlines operates a route network of 111 cities in 48 countries from its hub in Colombo and also connects to over 1,000 cities in 160 countries through its one-world partner airlines.
