A 54-year-old Filipino domestic helper died after accidentally falling from the fourth floor of a building in Milan, Italy.

According to reports, the domestic help was cleaning a window when she lost her balance and fell.

The victim fell about 30 meters from where she was standing, according to a newspaper report in Italy.

During the incident, the victim was alone as her employers were in Greece.

The incident is still being investigated. The employers could face charges for culpable homicide.

Window cleaning is considered as one of the most dangerous jobs in the world.

In Italy, where most Filipino workers belong to the household service sector, cleaning of windows of houses or establishments is part of the chores and they do it reportedly without wearing the needed protective gear and equipment.
