Four killed, 2 wounded in Southern California stabbing spree

A man fatally stabbed four persons and wounded two others in Southern California.

Police were able to arrest the suspect inside his car that was parked outside a 7-Eleven convenience store. Authorities withheld the suspect’s identity.

Lt. Carl Whitney of the Garden Grove Police Department said the man was armed with two large machete-type knives. Police said the series of knife attacks started at 4 p.m. Wednesday when a man broke into an apartment.
After burglarizing the apartment, the suspect drove his car to a bakery. He returned to the apartment and argued with two people.
At the height of the argument, the suspect stabbed the two perons. Police said the man lived in the apartment complex where the victims also lived.
Police said while they were responding to the burglary alarm, a security guard of a 7-Eleven convenience store was also fatally stabbed.
Two hours later, police received another alarm at a gasoline station. It turned out it was the same suspect who got involved in an earlier attack. Police said the fourth fatality was a man whose neck was slit while pumping gas.
A woman and a man were also rushed to a hospital with stab wounds.
