The Foreign Affairs Department reminds the public that its consular offices will be closed on August 12 in time for Eid Al Adha or ‘Feast of Sacrifice’.
“The Department of Foreign Affairs- Office of Consular Affairs will inform the public that all DFA Consular offices nationwide will be closed,” the statement said.
“There will be no passport or authentication/Apostillization or red ribbon service that day,” the statement added.
The DFA said that all passports scheduled to be released on August 12 will be given the following day.
The ‘Feast of Sacrifice’ is one of the holiest holidays in Islamic religion.
