For being obedient with traffic laws in UAE, a driver was surprised with a brand new car by the Dubai Police.
On Monday, UAE national Saif Al Sweedi’s family had a visit at their residence in Al Khawaneej area from authorities who were giving the gift. Al Sweedi was traveling abroad at the time and so his loved ones received the car for him.
The reward waS part of Dubai Police’s “white points system.”
Maj. Gen. Mohammed Saif Al Zafin, assistant commander-in-chief for operations, who was quoted by Khaleej Times, said the driver’s records showed he has never failed to observe the regulations on the road.
He also encouraged all motorists to “abide by traffic laws”.
