Multiple PH flights to Hong Kong cancelled due to massive protests

At least 17 flights bound for Hong Kong are cancelled due to raging protests in the country against China.

Manila International Airport Authority has announced the cancellation of the following flights:

CX919 Hong Kong — Manila
CX918 Manila — Hong Kong
Cx903 Hong Kong — Manila
Cx902 Manila — Hong Kong
Cx935 Hong Kong — Manila
Cx934 Manila — Hong Kong
Cx912 Manila — Hong Kong (Tuesday)
Cx939 Hong Kong — Manila
CX976 Manila — Hong Kong (Tuesday)

Philippine Airlines

PR318 Manila — Hong Kong
PR319 Hong Kong — Manila
PR306 Manila — Hong Kong
PR307 Hong Kong — Manila

Cebu Pacific
5J 112 Manila – Hong Kong (3:30PM – 6:05PM)
5J 113 Hong Kong – Manila (7:35PM – 10:00PM)

“For tickets booked on or before August 5, 2019 with travel dates on August 5, 6 and 7, 2019, Cebu Pacific will waive all charges for rebooking and refunds. Passengers may message the official Cebu Pacific Air accounts via Facebook or Twitter to make such changes,” Cebu Pacific said in a statement.

“Our Hong Kong station team and the airport authorities are in regular communication. The goal is to restore normal airport operations at the soonest possible time,” Philippine Airlines also said in their statement.
