A 44-year-old laborer now faced rape charges after he allegedly abused his two minor daughters in Cebu City, forcing them to do sexual acts.
Police Col. Gemma Vinluan, Cebu City Police Office director, said that two students ages 12 and 14 told their teachers that they were raped and molested multiple times by their father.
The teacher then accompanied the two minors to the help desk of Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) to report the incident last Thursday, Aug. 1.
“The day that the 14-year old told her teacher about the sexual abuse, she was also molested that day,” said Vinluan.
Vinluan said that they immediately launched hot pursuit against the father and the latter was arrested in their house in Cebu City.
During the interrogation, the father admitted to the crime and that the time he molested or sexually abuse his daughters when he was drunk.
But according to WCPD officers, the 44-year-old father molested his 12-year-old daughter thrice while the 14-year-old daughter was molested twice.
