Authorities have arrested a taxi driver at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport after he charged his Chinese passenger of P6,000.00.
The driver was identified as Eugene Del Rosario.
Police report said the Chinese national named Wang Wei asked for the driver to bring him to NAIA Terminal 1.
The victim did not want to miss his flight so he decided to pay the exhorbitant taxi fare, but he reported the incident to the airport police.
Police immediately arrested Del Rosario and is now under their custody as he awaits official charges.
