The Philippine National Police (PNP) nabbed three men after posing as a district representative and tried extort money to some government officials.
Dennis Jose Borbon, 24; Edgar Paulo Bularan, 30; and Menard Bassa, 20 were arrested by the PNP in Camarines Sur.
The three men posed as Camarines Sur 4th District Representative Arnulf Fuentebella and tried extorting money from Revilla.
The suspect tried calling Revilla’s number and said that he lost his money asking the Cavite Vice Governor to give him Php25,000.00
Senator Bong Go also claimed that one of these men tried asking money from him. Go called Fuenteballa to confirm and found out that it was a case of extortion.
The suspects are now facing charges for identity theft and estafa.
