9 ways to report mobile number scammers to TRA

While many see the UAE as a land of opportunities when it comes to launching your career, a select few are unfortunately taking advantage by scheming to get financial details of unknowing individuals with promises of cash prizes, threats of their ATM/Credit Cards being blocked, and more.

Fortunately, the UAE’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), working with the Abu Dhabi Police and the Dubai Police, have since launched several awareness campaigns for the public to avoid being victimized by such scams.

Authorities continue to warn residents to always be wary, especially when unknown contacts attempt to connect with them through mobile.

Abu Dhabi Police and the Dubai Police urges residents to be familiar with the various types of mobile scams to prevent being easy targets and to report the mobile numbers to the authorities as well.
