Senator Bong Go has filed a Senate resolution congratulating boxing champ and Senator Manny Pacquiao on his victory against Keith Thurman on Sunday.
The Filipino boxing legend is now the undisputed WBA Welterweight champion.
“His victory is the victory of the whole nation. His life story, hard work and dedication to serve God and the People is an inspiration to all Filipinos,” Go said in a statement.
Go also explained the need for a Senate resolution commending the boxer and senator.
“He continually brought immense pride and joy to all Filipinos through his accomplishments in his professional boxing career,” Go said.
