The family of the toddler who fell from an open window on a cruise ship in Puerto Rico plan to sue the Royal Caribbean Cruises.
Kimberly Wiegand, the mother of baby Chloe appeared on NBC’s show “Today” and said there are a million things that the cruise company could have done to prevent the incident, as per a report from CBS News.
Kimberly wanted to sue the company for “not having a safer situation on the 11th floor of that cruise ship” adding she does not want any mother to experience the same nightmare.
The family’s lawyer, Michael Winkleman, challenged the police report that said Chloe’s grandfather allegedly dropped the toddler out of a window last July 7 when the Freedom of the Seas was docked in Puerto Rico.
