A 41-year-old man in Barangay Kalunasan, Cebu City died just after the Manny Pacquiao-Keith Thurman fight on Sunday.
Lorenz Dizon was declared dead on arrival by attending physicians.
Guadalupe Barangay Captain Michael Gacasan said Dizon experienced difficulty in breathing past 1 p.m.
Reports said that the victim was watching the fight outside and collapsed when he came home.
His family said that the victim has a heart ailment.
Meanwhile, another 60-year-old man in Barangay Sawang Calero was rushed to the hospital after he fell unconscious.
The villagers rushed him to the hospital.
The man identified as Margarito Casquejo is already in stable condition after suffering from cardiac arrest.
Casquejo said he was overwhelmed after the split decision that favored the Filipino boxing champ.
