A dog bravely fought a venomous cobra as it tried to enter its owner’s house on Friday.
The dog named Miley was one of the two dachshunds which protected the home of Jaime Selim in Kidapawan City.
CCTV footage showed how the two dogs prevented the snake from entering the house.
The dogs bit the snake but it keeps the cobra from getting stronger.
Miley suffered the most of venomous bites. The dog died minutes after the fight as well the cobra.
The other dog survived but was brought to the veterinary clinic because it was hit in the eye.
Selim was extremely thankful for the hero dogs because his one year old child was inside her room when the cobra tried to enter their house.
