Two airline passengers told to leave jet over racist comments

Two passengers of a Thomas Cook flight bound for Gatwick from Turkey were forcibly asked to leave the plane for allegedly claiming that three male Muslim passengers in white prayer shawls were “terrorists” and a “threat” to the plane.

One of the offloaded passengers was seen in video getting her luggage and leaving the plane.

The passengers were escorted by the police.

One of the passengers aboard the plane said the woman was a “crazy racist.”

“A passenger on our Thomas Cook flight refuses to stay on the plane because three bearded men in white prayer robes are on board,” a passenger tweeted.

The women even asked airplane officials to remove the three men from the flight.

“They went to the front of the plane, spoke to the flight attendants and attempted to get the three men removed, stating that they are ‘disgusting’ and a threat,” another passenger recalled.

Some passengers also called out the women for their racist acts.

“Two passengers on Flight MT105 from Dalaman to London Gatwick were removed from the aircraft by police following offensive behavior on board. The safety of our customers and crew is always our first priority and we do not accept this kind of behavior on our aircraft. We are sorry to our customers for the delay this has caused to their flight,” Thomas Cook airline said in a statement.
