Manila Mayor Isko Moreno has requested to remove his name from a food truck giving free ‘lugaw’ named as ‘Kusina ni Isko’.
A netizen called out Moreno asking if ‘epals’ are prohibited under his term.
“Netizens have a point on this one. Nakisuyo na po ako sa nag-donate po ng food truck na huwag na lang ilagay ang mukha at pangalan ko,” Moreno replied.
Moreno also suggested possible names for the food truck.
“Kusina ng Maynila oKusina para sa Batang Maynila,” Moreno said.
Moreno added the truck will no longer be there next flag ceremony.
The new Manila mayor has ordered the removal of politician name on schools and gymnasiums.
