Authorities have arrested two men for allegedly cultivating at least 37 marijuana plants in Al Ain.
Police said an Asian man gave the information on the illegal activity.
After a police operation, two men were discovered to be distributing and growing marijuana in the area.
The Abu Dhabi police said they will continue to intensify their anti-drug operations.
At least 423kg of heroin have been seized and 12 men were arrested for their alleged involvement in illegal drugs last June.
The Anti- Narcotics Law exempts drug addicts from punishment if they will voluntarily surrender to authorities.
UAE citizens and foreigners who voluntarily surrender themselves will face no charges and deportation, officials said.
