Some 1,393 bikes and motorbikes were seized in Sharjah on Wednesday due to reckless driving.
Sharjah Police said this is part of the government’s crackdown on reckless drivers and the police force’s campaign to reduce accidents.
“In addition to the dangers they pose, reckless riders cause inconvenience to people in various residential areas,” Sharjah Police said.
This, as information campaign is being rolled out to remind and educate riders about the importance of following traffic regulations.
